The design of the Western Academy of Beijing #424141 (WAB) High School was to reflect the Middle School located opposite to the rest of the school buildings across the lake. The progression of the school designs from elementary to high school responds to the journey that students take as they mature, and this is reflected both in the colours, materials and the designs of the buildings and interiors.
The WAB High School was designed to be a place where interaction happened in all areas, and designs into the fabric of the building, the opportunity of learning throughout the development.
